COMMISSIONS

WHAT'S YOUR

FOCUS?

Sometimes art on a wall is only part of a bigger picture.

Interior designers will tell you a room is like one big painting.

And every painting needs a focal point. A ground zero for the eye.

REASONS TO COMMISSION A PIECE OF ART

1 - It's Original. Your painting is truly one of a kind. After it's in your possession, I break the mold and will never make print reproductions of your piece.

2 - It's Personal.  We'll chat about whatever you have in mind. Maybe the subject matter is from a personal story, or a place you've been, or an experience you've had.

3 - It Fits Like a Glove. Odd space? Giant stairway? Between two ferns? I'll customize the canvas to fit anywhere. By the way, it doesn't have to be on canvas.

ART FOR BRANDS

BRANDS/BUSINESSES/CORPORATE

I remember doing a cover for a Disney publication once. I was warned by practically everybody that “they will scrutinize every centimeter of the way you draw Mickey, Goofy, or Donald.”

You know what? It was the opposite. The art director told me he preferred seeing Mickey & Co. drawn in drastically different art styles.

It was one of my favorite commissions to date. In fact, my parents still have it hanging in their home.

Do you want your flat logo to be punched in the face with a flurry of vivid paint strokes? All this can be done while still respecting the spirit of the brand.

Art buying is not only for the urban professional.  Art brings joy and is therapeutic to the soul of ev-er-y-bo-dy.

Let's talk about it!
